The Offline Aadhaar XML file contains the user's mobile number only in a hashed format. We compare the hash of mobile number shared by client with the hashed mobile number in the XML file. 


In case there is a match, we send the mobile number(shared by client) in the Original KYC block.


In case there is a mismatch, we do not send any mobile number in the Original KYC block, because at this point we only know that the mobile number shared does not match with the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. In this case error occurs as  “Aadhar and phone number mismatched”.There is no way to decode the hashed mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
